Maveric Contractors: a civil engineering website built in Webflow
In 2020, returning client Maveric Contractors asked Webflowich to replace an outdated WordPress website with a clearer, easier-to-manage company site. I led the roadmap, client communication and art direction, developed the approved design in Webflow, and handled delivery and handoff. Vladimir Koval, a Webflowich team member, created the visual design.
The new site brought the company story, services, project evidence, health and safety, recruitment, news and contact paths into one coherent multi-page experience.

The brief and roadmap
The previous WordPress site had become outdated. The replacement needed to make Maveric’s services and completed work easier to understand while giving the team a practical way to publish projects and company updates.
Discovery covered services, project content, the blog and the team’s editing needs. I translated those conversations into the site roadmap and prototype, then managed feedback and approvals with the client.
The resulting information architecture gave company content, services, projects, health and safety, recruitment, news and contact details a clear place in the journey.
Art direction and design collaboration
Vladimir developed the visual design as a member of the Webflowich team. I led art direction, connecting the approved visual language with content hierarchy, responsive behavior and implementation decisions.
A dark industrial palette, high-contrast yellow accents, large site photography and compact typography gave heavy engineering work a precise, contemporary presentation without losing the practical information a contractor website needs.
A maintainable multi-page Webflow build
I developed the site as a connected system rather than a single promotional landing page. Services, company information, projects, Health and Safety, Aiming High recruitment and training, news and contact content each had a clear place.
Projects and news used Webflow CMS for consistent publishing. Individual project pages gave each civil engineering project its own context, while reusable layouts kept recurring content coherent.
The CMS and page structure kept routine updates separate from the main design system, reducing the need for the client to edit layouts directly.
Responsive implementation and handoff
Large photographic panels, layered content cards, dark-to-light transitions and compact navigation required deliberate responsive work across desktop, tablet and mobile.
The handoff included a safe Webflow Editor link and a practical walkthrough, allowing the team to update routine content without working directly in Designer. I also prepared the on-page SEO foundation; no traffic or ranking result is claimed because those measurements were not part of the verified record.
Five years in use
The delivered design remained in use for about five years without a redesign. That sustained use is the clearest verified outcome: the visual direction, content structure and Webflow implementation remained useful well beyond launch.
Maveric has since launched a different website. The screens in this case document the 2020 Webflow edition; the current site is linked only for present-day company context.
Today, Maveric describes one team operating across Europe, with bases in Ireland, Germany and Norway and delivered or active markets in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Denmark. This present-day footprint is not presented as an outcome of the 2020 website.
From client project to a market-tested template
The practical lessons from Maveric later informed ContractoR, my multi-page Webflow Marketplace template for construction, engineering and home-service companies. It turns the same recurring needs—clear service hierarchy, project-led proof, CMS publishing and semantic page structure—into a reusable starting point without reusing Maveric’s brand or proprietary content.
